The World Utilities Congress

The World Utilities Congress, hosted by TAQA and part of the Abu Dhabi Water & Power
Week, an initiative by the Department of Energy – Abu Dhabi, will take place from 24 – 26
November 2026 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The Congress brings together policymakers, utility leaders, technology innovators, and
investors to address the evolving challenges shaping the global power and water utilities
sector – from rising electricity demand and digital transformation to water security and
infrastructure resilience.

Serving as a strategic platform for collaboration, the event will showcase emerging
technologies, encourage cross-border partnerships, and unlock investment opportunities
focused on renewable energy integration, grid resilience, and advanced water management.
Through industry dialogue and practical solutions, the World Utilities Congress supports the
development of more reliable, sustainable, and future-ready utility systems that drive
economic growth and strengthen communities worldwide.
